Variety details

• Sweet Kabù is a sweet, crunchy salad turnip with silky, pure-white skin. Not only is the fleshy turn edible, but the greens also make for a delicious addition to many meals. Sweet Kabù is easily grown in only 45 days and should be direct-seeded every two inches when sowing. Once the plant breaks the soil, it’s important to keep the plant covered to maintain the health of the foliage. Sweet Kabù is ready to harvest once the bulb reaches two inches in diameter, and can be washed and served immediately.

Sowing and establishment

Sow directly into a prepared bed with loose, freely draining soil. Avoid transplanting root crops because root disturbance can affect shape. Sow thinly and gently water the seedbed.

Growing and harvest

Thin crowded seedlings to leave room for root development. Keep soil evenly moist and remove competing weeds early. Harvest roots when they reach the intended eating size, using the variety details and packet instructions as your guide.

Choose your required pack size from the available options. Follow the supplied packet for variety-specific spacing, sowing season and treatment instructions.
