September to February in plains. Sow during suitable mild weather in cooler regions.
Raise seedlings in plug trays, seedling trays or a protected nursery bed.
Place the seeds on the surface and cover them lightly with fine growing medium.
Approximately 20–24°C.
Transplant carefully after the seedlings develop 4–6 true leaves.
Provide bright light or morning sunlight and protect plants from extreme afternoon heat.
🌱 Growing Guidelines
- Fill a seedling tray with clean, fine and well-drained nursery medium.
- Sow the seeds carefully and cover them with a very thin layer of growing medium.
- Moisten gently with a fine sprayer. Avoid heavy watering.
- Keep the tray in bright, indirect light with good ventilation.
- Maintain uniform moisture without making the growing medium waterlogged.
- Gradually expose established seedlings to sunlight before transplanting.
- Transplant into pots or beds containing fertile and well-drained soil.

Geranium does not tolerate prolonged waterlogging or extreme summer heat. Ensure excellent drainage and protect the plants from harsh afternoon sunlight.
